Price Kong is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and is taking reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our clients and personnel. Considering many of you have upcoming in-person appointments with us, and/or have not yet filed your 2019 returns, please see the following:

  • In-person appointments. As of now, all upcoming appointments remain in effect. Please come in as scheduled; however, if you prefer to meet telephonically or via video conference at your scheduled date and time, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
  • Re-think the handshake. When you do arrive at our office, no one will take offense if you prefer not to shake hands, and please be aware that your Price Kong professional may not extend a hand in greeting. This is a precaution to keep you safe and healthy, and we absolutely respect your decision. In addition, click HERE to review a flyer from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on helpful tips on how to remain healthy and safe during this pandemic.
  • Tax deadline. Last night, the President mentioned the April 15 personal tax deadline may be delayed. As of today, the IRS has not made an official announcement. We will inform you as soon as we know more. In the meantime, we are moving forward assuming no delay, and we’ll let you know if we make any adjustments based on what/if specific changes are made to the deadline and when tax payments are due.
  • Impact to your business. As your trusted advisor, we can help you navigate your business through this current crisis. Click HERE to review our disaster scenario planning article, and don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance in mitigating any impacts to your business.

In addition, we have taken steps and are well-positioned to ensure we continue to provide our clients with uninterrupted services during this crisis. To ensure the health of our personnel and continued smooth operations of our services, we are:

  • communicating and following health guidelines and evolving best practices issued by the CDC and relevant government authorities
  • increasing the frequency and rigor of cleaning and sanitization in our office
  • making alcohol-based hand sanitizer available throughout our office
  • requiring our employees to work from home if they have symptoms that could indicate a contagious illness, such as a fever and/or cough
  • asking employees to limit their business travel and attend large group sessions virtually
  • ensuring work-from-home options are available to our employees as necessary or desired

As the situation evolves, we will continue to make decisions with the health and well-being of our clients and personnel as our uppermost priority. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns at 602.776.6300.
